I imagine we will be inundated with dodgy home colour jobs and impressive grey roots, not to mention hair down to peoples knees when we finally reopen.
Lets all be a little patient and remember we are helping to save lives and should wear our roots and overgrown fringes with pride in this “New Normal”
The current plan once we have a definite reopen date is to contact people in order from when we closed. The aim is to see those waiting the longest the first. We will do are up most to see everyone as quickly as possible.
Once we have more government guidance in place I will publish our reopening rules and steps to ensure staff and client safety.
Until then if you need to contact the salon email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will do our best to get back to you.

I am aware that one if not more of our clients have felt the direct impact of Covid-19. My thoughts and condolences are with you, and with everyone affected by the pandemic.
I know my staff will stand with me in thanking the NHS staff fighting on the front lines, and to everyone trying to keep our daily lives going with your hard work. This is difficult times for everyone and it is nice to see the togetherness and support across the country showing we will beat this as a community.
As a Salon, we are awaiting any announcement from the government as to when we can reopen. We hope this will be after the Easter weekend, however we must make sure it is safe and sensible to do so. If we are told to stay shut for a few more weeks, then we must, no matter how long our hair or roots get!
For everyone with appointments booked over the the past few weeks or next few weeks, we will make time to get you all seen to as soon as we reopen.
If you need to contact the salon please email me.
I wish you all a chocolatey Easter and hope the sun keeps shining.

Due to the ongoing impact of Coronavirus it is with regret I have chosen to temporally close Salon Messina with immediate effect.
The impact of going to the hairdressers, removing your roots and having a gorgeous blow dry can have a profound impact on the day for the better and when lifes troubles knock at the door a silly conversation with your stylist can provide immense sanctuary and aid mental wellbeing.
However in the current climate I believe the balance has now tipped towards ensuring the safety of our community, our loved ones and ourselves.
Apologies to all of you who we haven’t been able to see in the last few weeks we will be back as soon as possible.
If you have an appointment booked in the next few weeks please email email@example.com and we will get you arranged when we know we are going to reopen. We unfortunately will not be checking the phone regularly so if you leave a voice message we will respond as soon as we pick them up.
So as I sit here in my office watching the squirrels and birds play in todays glorious sunshine I look forward to the time when we can all enjoy playing in the sunshine without a care in the world.
Stay safe and healthy my friends
